Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 27, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Exora Coach (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the Exora Coach mobile application (the “App”).
App Store privacy labels
The table below matches what we declare in the Apple App Store privacy questionnaire and the Google Play Data safety form. For each type, data is linked to your identity (your account, email, or feedback you send) and is not used for tracking (we do not link your data with third-party data about you for advertising, and we do not share it with data brokers).
| Data type | What we collect | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Email address | Email from your account (email/password, Google, or Apple sign-in); email you provide when submitting feedback as a guest | Authentication, account profile, and replying to feedback |
| User ID | Firebase account identifier assigned when you sign in; the same identifier may be sent to analytics and crash reporting when you are signed in | Account services, syncing favorites and workouts, and associating diagnostics with your account |
| Crash data | Crash reports and stack traces from Firebase Crashlytics, including when the app stops unexpectedly | Find and fix bugs |
| Performance data | App stability and performance-related signals collected by Firebase (for example, session and reliability metrics tied to diagnostics) | Improve app reliability |
| Product interaction | Usage events such as sign-up, saving or sharing a workout, submitting feedback, and filter/search usage (category names and counts, not the text you type in search) | Understand which features are used so we can improve the App |
| Other diagnostic data | Non-fatal error logs, technical context strings, app version, and device platform (iOS or Android) sent with crash reporting or feedback | Diagnose issues and investigate reports you send |
Tracking: We do not use your data for tracking as defined by Apple (no cross-app or cross-site tracking for advertising). We do not sell your personal information.
Information we collect
Beyond the categories above, the App stores the following when you use signed-in features:
- Display name (if provided by your sign-in provider)
- Favorites and saved workouts you choose to store in your account
- Feedback content you submit (message, category, optional exercise reference, app version, and platform)
You can browse exercises without an account. If you are not signed in, we do not store favorites or workouts tied to your account. Usage and diagnostic data may still be collected by Firebase using device-level identifiers until you sign in, at which point it can be associated with your User ID as described above.
How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Provide and sync your account, favorites, and workouts across devices
- Respond to feedback and support requests
- Improve app reliability and understand how features are used
- Diagnose crashes and technical issues
Third-party services
The App uses third-party services that may process data on our behalf, including:
- Google Firebase — authentication, cloud database, and hosting for these legal pages
- Google Analytics for Firebase — product interaction events (for example, sign-up, saving a workout, sharing a workout, submitting feedback, and filter usage)
- Firebase Crashlytics — crash data, performance-related signals, and other diagnostic logs to fix bugs
- Google Sign-In — optional sign-in with your Google account
- Sign in with Apple — optional sign-in with your Apple ID
- YouTube — embedded exercise videos when you view an exercise (subject to Google’s privacy policy)
These providers process data according to their own privacy policies. We configure analytics and crash reporting to avoid collecting unnecessary personal details in diagnostic messages.
Data retention
We retain account-related data while your account is active. Feedback submissions may be kept to investigate issues and improve the App. Analytics and crash data are retained according to Firebase’s default retention periods.
Your choices
- Account deletion: Signed-in users can delete their account in the App under Profile → Delete account. This permanently removes your account and associated favorites and saved workouts from our systems. Step-by-step instructions are also published at Delete your account for Google Play and other regulatory requirements.
- Sign out: You can sign out at any time from Profile → Sign out.
- Feedback: You choose whether to send feedback and what to include in your message.
Children
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date when we do. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
